This weekend, the boarders went for a walk at King’s Hat in the New Forest. Wrapped up in coats, hats, gloves, scarves and welly boots, they thought they were ready for any eventuality that Mr. Taylor could lead them into. However, their fearless leader led them into a bog from which there was no escape, at least not for one unfortunate wellington boot. Next time Mr. Taylor suggests a lovely walk in the Forest, pack your waders, life jackets and inflatable boats.
Apart from a walk/squelch in the Forest, this weekend the boarders also enjoyed a trip to the cinema, a family service for Education Sunday at St. John’s, Boldre, and a visit to Splashdown in Poole – another fun packed and busy weekend that’s flown by for the boarders at Hordle Walhampton.
