Year One spent Thursday morning in Forest School creating the most wonderful winter homes for hibernating hedgehogs. The children put a lot of care and thought into their work and this was reflected in the results. Some of the houses had moss for carpet and one even had a larder! Roofs were covered with leaves for waterproofing, and sticks and leaves were used for camouflage. The children were so absorbed in their work they had to be interrupted in order to get back to school in time for lunch.
