OFSTED Boarding Inspection Report

Our provision for boarding was inspected by OFSTED in June 2010.  The OFSTED inspector commented most favourably on (amongst others) the way we deal with bullying (although he stated that it is not an issue in the first place), behaviour, medication, our approach to the promotion of good health (through catering and PSHE), our expectations of behaviour, communication (between staff, pupils and parents), recruitment, safety and learning support for boarders and those with English as a second language.  We are delighted that our boarding accommodation has been rated as OUTSTANDING as is our ability to “help children achieve well and enjoy what they do”.  The full report can be accessed via the school information section of this website or the Ofsted website.
