Eco SchoolsThe children and staff at Hordle Walhampton School are fully committed to the Eco-Schools programme.

This programme:

- encourages whole-school action for preserving the environment
- is an award scheme, rewarding and accrediting schools committed to improving environmental performance
- is a learning resource and opportunity, raising awareness on sustainable development

Hordle Walhampton School has already been awarded BRONZE status and is now pushing hard to achieve SILVER. The whole school action programme is driven by the children, who each have responsibilities for managing the environment at school. They are rewarded with ECO-PLUSSES and there is a vibrant ECO-COMPETITION between the Houses. Below is a round-up of last term’s results:
