Cricket Centurion Cureton
Last Saturday's matches against Norman Court were high scoring
affairs. Pride of place must go to David Cureton's innings which sped
the Colts to victory. His fast and furious hundred is a rare feat for
one so young. David
Gower, former England captain, scored his first 100 at his prep school
at the tender age of eight - so who knows what our David might achieve.
Elsewhere, there were fine performances too. Aidan Lindsay-Wood, the
captain of cricket, scored 56 not out helping 1st XI to a formidable
total of 129 - 5. Earlier in the week, he once again led by example
taking 5 wickets in an emphatic win over Forres Sandle Manor.
