Inter House Music Competition

On Tuesday 20th March, the first HW Music competition took place in the Performing Art Centre. It consisted of each house singing two songs. One of them was a set song for everyone, and Mrs Watkiss had decided on the Welsh ballad "The Ash Grove". The other song was chosen by the singers, and a lot of imagination came into this part, with the set ups involving make up, costumes and even a motorbike and a live band. The judge, Mr Robin Highcock from Godolphin School, decided that Elgar were the best, although it was a very tough decision.

All staff and children put a lot of effort into the rehearsals, and the results proved to show such musical talent and fun that Mrs Watkiss said we would do it again next year.
