Any Dream Will Do
Hordle Walhampton's Joseph Choir have recorded their ‘clip’ for the BBC show ‘Any Dream Will Do.’ We have had a lot of fun but this exercise has also meant a great deal of hard work. The test piece had to be learnt, the dance routine had to be mastered, the T-shirts had to be ordered and then, each was hand finished with our ‘logo’ designed from the television programme’s title and then printed on ‘in house’ for that special touch. It has been a real family effort with many staff contributing: Rob Austin, Oliver Herbert in IT, David Fleetwood (our previous IT technician), Kevin Nicholls with his art work, Sarah Mepham, our dance teacher, Nigel Reid in the Sports department, Sue Strong, Elaine Arrow Smith with her excellent photography, Rita Cordrey and Amy Taylor on hair as well as, of course, the Music Department with more family help from Jazz Watkiss and her grandmother, Sylvia Francis on T- shirt design, fixing the logo, hair and moral support. What can we say? The children have been, as usual amazing! Keen and excited, positive, always steadfast in their approach. Rehearsals have been frenetic, daily and twice-daily at times, and the final result, a huge achievement by everyone. The Joseph Experience will stay with all-concerned for life. Their achievement will be one that I know our children will always remember, be proud about and treasure, just as I will. Once the ‘clip’ is entered onto the web site, we would love it if you could vote for our Joseph Choir at Hordle Walhampton. Please look on the BBC website and vote for us as many times as you can bear. Some schools have been entered already and therefore have a number of votes by virtue of their length of time on the site. Thank you, everyone for your support.
