Winchester Scholarship for Hordle Walhampton Pupil Michael Truell has been awarded a scholarship to Winchester College - a fantastic achievement for Michael and the first Winchester scholarship by a Hordle Walhampton pupil. Michael excelled on the Maths and Science elements of the scholarship paper, known as the Winchester Election, and was actually placed 9th out of the 23 candidates who sat the exam. Congratulations to Michael, who will join his brother Matthew at Winchester in September. May 2006 |
