Forest School

Hordle Walhampton Forest School aims to provide the children with a secure, outdoor, woodland environment in which they can learn, explore and build a long-term relationship with the natural world.

Using their own preferred learning styles, we aim to raise self-esteem, develop confidence and independence and to enrich language, mathematical and communication skills.

In Reception, we go out each week, whatever the weather for a whole morning and follow an outdoor curriculum.

Year One accesses the Forest School site four times a term for a whole morning session.
