We are justifiably proud of the activities we provide for all the children, both day and boarding.
School Activities:
School Activities take place for all children on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 17.15 and 18.00. They are designed to provide an opportunity to sample, try, enjoy, develop and improve new skills and experiences.
With over 50 different activities generally on offer throughout the year (according to interest and availability of staff) our range is always wide and varied. A full list is available from the school but regulars include model making, roller hockey, speech and drama, dance, cookery, beekeeping, model railways, woodwork, orchestra, art and self-defence.
Saturday Activities:
Saturday Activities take place between 09.00 and 12.30 with three, individual one-hour sessions. Activities such as fishing, fencing, tennis, orienteering, archery, sailing and kayaking are often more suited to a Saturday morning than an evening during the week.
Weekend Activities for the Boarders:
The boarders enjoy a wide variety of activities, visits and events. Recently there were outings to the cinema, the theatre and to the bowling rink. The children also went swimming, played Sunday Morning cricket on the lawn, had a campfire supper and hosted a ‘Sleepover’.
